Every piece is made just for you, so we take care to get it right before anything is engraved.

You approve a proof first

After you send your design, we email you a proof of exactly what will be engraved. Please check spelling, names, dates and layout carefully. Nothing is engraved, and nothing is charged, until you approve it.

Personalized items are final sale

Because each piece is engraved to order, we can't accept returns or exchanges for a change of mind, or for errors in a proof you approved.

When we'll remake or refund

• Our mistake: if what we engraved doesn't match your approved proof.
• A defect: a crack, flaw or finish problem that isn't natural material character.
• Damaged in shipping: the piece arrives broken or damaged.

Email us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photos of the piece (and the box, for shipping damage). We'll remake it at no charge or refund you, whichever you prefer. You don't need to send the item back unless we ask.

Natural materials

Wood, slate and anodized aluminum are natural or hand-finished materials. Grain, color, knots and engraving tone vary from piece to piece and from the on-screen preview. That character is part of what makes each piece unique and isn't a defect.

Cancelling an order

You can cancel any time before you approve your proof, at no charge. Once a piece has been engraved, it can't be cancelled.
